TERMS OF USE

First of all, because of all the copyright and use questions people have, We'd like to make it clear that all of our patterns are original . They were all designed by us using Plastic Canvas Design Studio using clip art we have either purchased, images we have drawn by hand, or images we have found on the web. We DO NOT claim to own the copyright to the images we have purchased or found on the web but the patterns belong to us.  We DO own the copyright to the images we have hand drawn and created patterns from.

The projects you make using our designs MAY be sold.  You may do what you wish with these patterns as long as you do not resell the pattern itself.  You may change the colors, add something or take something away from the design. Be creative We would love to see what you come up with.

ROYALTY FREE does not mean copyright free. Royalty free only means that you may use the patterns for your projects , sale or profit, without further payment to the artist. If you are in doubt about  what you can and can't use if for, please ask, We will be happy to answer any questions.

We give you permission to use our patterns and sell what you make from them.
 But you are never to sell the actual pattern itself.

Now as for sharing our patterns, We would like to tell you our feelings about it and let you make the decision for yourself whether or not you want to share.. 

We know there are many file sharing groups and programs out there and we know it is fun to share patterns as we have both done it ourselves.  We would rather you didn't share our patterns in these groups or with these programs.  We ask that if you do share our patterns it  would be nice if you could hold off a week or two before sharing the new patterns.  We are both mothers of three trying to make a little extra money for all the things that come up with kids.  We are sure all of you with children know how these things add up.  We are not a big company.  We spend hours everyday designing and trying to come up with new ideas for patterns that everyone will enjoy. 

We also don't think it is fair that you spend your hard earned money to buy patterns then you send it to one group or person and before you know it the pattern is being shared all over the place by people who just sit around and snag patterns, and pass them around as if it was them who bought it. We know this happens.  We have seen it ourselves.  We know there are many rumors out there saying that if you share our patterns you will get in trouble and we can tell you those are just rumors.  The did not come from us. 

Anytime a project using our pattern is sold, a link to WWW.CRAFTSANDMORESTORE.COM must be provided where the projects are displayed. You must give us credit for the pattern.  If you do not wish to do this, you can pay a one time commercial fee of $50.00 then you will not need to provide a link or credit for the design. This includes everyone selling completed projects from our patterns.  All customers using our patterns must follow these rules. If you do not wish to pay the commercial fee, you must give credit or remove the projects.

If you are selling finished projects on a website or ebay send us a link to the page that you have our link posted and we will add a link on our site to yours. Please provide the link that you would like us to put on our site.

You can use one of these logos if you like, or just a simple line link to www.craftsandmorestore.com will do. Simply right click and save picture as to use our logo on your site.

We do not give you the copyright to our patterns just the projects you make from our designs..
